I think since some things are very easy to do on pc like aiming shooting especially hitting the neck with the bola gun which results in an instant knockout the very hard mode aims to make the game feel harder. In my opinion it s the best difficulty setting makes the game more satisfying to play and doesn t make it any less fun. Played the ps4 version on hard difficulty and think i came away with a much more positive impression of the boss fights than many who played on the easier settings.
