With that being said it still can t topple the behemoth that is metal gear solid v. Death stranding is a fascinating first attempt from kojima productions and it does some truly original things. I guess it s hard to say which is better it s pretty much down to preference or what kind of game you prefer.
Basically mgsv feels like a normal game death stranding feels like you re in that world. You won t really understand this if you haven t played both but mgsv is more fun but death stranding is more engaging. I got to chapter 8 and figured it was safe to go back and watch the launch trailer just to get some of that feeling while i was at work and it was so spoilery i clicked away halfway through.
Yeah after seeing basically all of mgsv by getting wrapped up in hype and trailers i went media blackout for death stranding deciding to just trust kojima. The game was released by sony interactive entertainment for the playstation 4 and by 505 games for windows. I think that kojima confirmed this at the tribeca talk so i think i don t have any reason to be worried but the disappointment from the mgsv storytelling is still haunting. I hope there s gonna be lots of emotional stuff lots of cool cutscenes and lots of dialogue. So i hope that this won t be the case with death stranding storytelling.
Nier now nier is fucking amazing combat is buttery and the. You said you like impactful gameplay and well i enjoyed death stranding cause i m super jaded and like to engage with something unique it is a level of tedium that you likely won t enjoy. Well comparing mgsv to death stranding is really odd the only thing in common is kojima.
